Emporda Marshes, Costa Brava
In the north of the Costa Brava, between Castelló d'Empúries, Empuriabrava and Sant Pere Pescador, this natural park is the second largest in Catalonia of these characteristics, as it brings together a large number of native species of flora and fauna.
The Natural Park of the Empordà Marshes is divided into two large areas, to the north and to the south of the River Muga, with the most characteristic features of the landscape of the Alt Emporda region.
