Balneario Termas Orion is located in the beautifol town of Santa Coloma de Farners, about 20 km South of Girona. Its hot springs were known and used by the Romans, Greeks and Arabs. Balneari Termes Orion water emerges from the mythological springs of Orion, declared publicly useful in 1889. From an analytical viewpoint this highly curative water can be characterized as containing bicarbonate, sodium, fluor and silicate which emerges transparent, without any special odour or taste, at 39 and 42 degrees Celsius. Rising in the centre of an appealing park which gives off a high degree of ionisation, where one breathes the so-called 'air-borne vitamins, a green reserve with enough opportunity for walks, odorous areas and a place where one comes to realize that the fact that being restful in itself is one of the greatest pleasures of life.
